A Shabby Chic Event
This past Sunday was quite the event! We have been working on this for months and finally it was time to put everything together. Right after Christmas we submitted an idea to a local children's magazine for a stylized shoot and they loved it. So the wheels started moving and we began to nail down the designs and who we would like to bring in as vendors. Atmosphere Floral and Décor would do all of the flower arrangements and The Flair Exchange would provide the gorgeous flair for the balloons. Everyone was so generous and lovely to work with! We could not have asked for a better team of ladies! The morning started very early at 6:30 and we would not finish until 6:30 in the evening! What a day!! So worth and I think you can see no detail was left unturned. I wore two hats that day doing all of the sweets of course but also designing all of the sets and dressing the table. It was a great day and I thank everyone!

Butterfly Baby Shower
Ribbon Buterfly Cake
Sweets table!
Brownie pops
Pregnitinis
This week was all about pink and butterfly's. I had the pleasure this week of helping host a wonderfully sweet baby shower for a great friend who will be welcoming a baby girl in the next fews months. She loves butterflys and the nursery is full of them so we thought it was the perfect theme for the shower. I had such a great time creating all of the different treats for the party! Enjoy!!

Fondant everywhere!
So I said many many times when I first started out in the bakery world that I did not want to work to much with fondant. Well now I guess I can officially take that back! I got an order for the end of this month for a two tiered fondant cake from a wonderful and loyal customer. I did say that it wasn't my specialty however she said she has full confidence in me and continued with the order! I figured I better brush up on my fondant skills and decided to put together a little birthday cake for a sweet little friend of ourse who was turning 5. I thought I would start with some polka dots and a large bright pink bow!! What girl doesn't love polka dots and bows right?!! Enjoy!!
The flavor was orange creamsicle and it was a hit!
